What does becoming an Alumni mean?

• Criteria - Lynx clients who are stable, well into a period of recovery (1 yr plus) medication compliant and living a healthy life style
• Within the Alumni Lynx Program meeting with fellow Lynx Alumni, receiving a monthly electronic newsletter, and having a separate page on the Lynx Website
• Transfer to your family doctor for medication management. If you don’t have a family doctor the Lynx Alumni program will arrange for you to get one.
• Transferred from psychiatric care to family doctor care
• Participation in Alumni activities i.e.; pot luck dinners at fellow Alumni’s, trips to Wonderland or other places of interest, camping, etc.
• Continued Y membership
• Access to some regular Lynx programming, both as a participant and possible mentoring roles
• Quick access to former psychiatrist or clinical case manager should the need arise i.e.; relapse, medication questions, information, help with ODSP
• Family doctors will have the access to former psychiatrist and CCM should they have any questions about you.
