- Access to case management and/psychiatrist in an emergency or crisis or as needs change or arrive
- Referral and support to family doctors, nurse practitioners and family health teams
- Network of telephone and email support from the program and peers
- Group Meetings every 6 weeks (to start)
- Informal psycho-education on an as needed basis to the group or offered on an individual basis
- Initially, the program will provide social recreation opportunities as the group deems
- Self-driven alumni related activities
- Opportunity to advocate on issues relevant to their wellness
- Contracts with clients for graduation into the alumni program as well as ongoing review of contract.
- Rapid re-entry into alumni program with original case manager and psychiatrist where possible, on a short-term basis to be determined by the treatment team.
- Potential involvement and development through mentoring program and peer support
